Born 3 July in Seinäjoki, Finland
Jenni is an ambitious javelin thrower, who also spends lots of training hours running. All that makes her a better athlete and a better javelin thrower motivates her. So running takes a big part of her training, and she knows that when she runs fast, she can do the same with her javelin. “Got to admit – I hated running when I first started to train for javelin throw. Nowadays I enjoy the space I get, especially for my thoughts”, she says.
Jenni’s athletic career holds medals from both the Finnish national championship, Finnish youth nationals, World Youth Championships and European Youth Championships. Her record for now is 56,56 meters, but she has big goals for the future. She’s planning on throwing over 60 meters at her next European Championships and the Olympics are amongst her biggest dream.
